The role we are currently looking to fill is for Dual Action (DA) Sanding, also known as an Orbital Sander or Palm Sander in woodworking. This position is DA sanding steel parts through various grits to a finish that is ready for chrome plating.
Prior experience will be taken into consideration when determining starting pay. If you don't have experience no worries, get trained by the best of the best, skilled, industry leaders! But, if you don't have great attendance, don't bother applying!! Attendance is critical to your success and ours.
The objective of the role is to remove defects in raw steel material to include but not limited to; pits, orange peel, metal flow, banding, and or press marks with full sanding coverage over parts, to customer quality standard for chrome plating.
DA Sanding is a fast-paced, labor-intensive position. And, while you will be standing in place to perform this role, you will be continuously moving as you perform this role.
