Print Production Specialist

Join our team at Blouse House Creative as a Print Production Specialist and contribute to the visual impact of our projects across the New River Valley. You will play a vital role in the creation and assembly of high quality signage, paper, and promotional products. This role requires a keen attention to detail, excellent manual dexterity, and the ability to work alone as well as collaboratively within a fast-paced production environment.

Key Responsibilities:

· Operate and maintain various printing equipment, including large format, digital, and sublimation printers as well as cutting machines and assembly tools.

· Collaborate with the design team to understand project requirements and artwork specifications.

· Set up print files for projects, ensuring accurate color calibration and alignment.

· Prepare substrates and materials prior to assembly.

· Monitor printing process to ensure consistency.

· Precisely measure, cut, and assemble signage materials according to design specifications.

· Install various types of signs, including vinyl graphics.

· Manage production schedules and prioritize tasks to meet project deadlines.

· Preform quality control check on finished projects to ensure they meet company standards.

· Assist in maintaining an organized inventory of printing supplies and materials.

· Assist in customer service duties when customers come in the shop or call on the phone.

· Preform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

· High school Diploma or equivalent.

· Experience in printing, signage, or design.

· Proficiency in working with computers, software, and printers.

· Strong understanding of color, image resolution, and print alignment.

· Proficiency in using various hand tools, power tools, and tape measure.

· Meticulous attention to detail and commitment to producing consistent, high quality products.

· Effective problem solving skills to address technical challenges.

· Excellent time management skills for collaboration with design team.

Working Conditions

· This is an in-person position that requires you to work in various locations including shop, outdoors, and on-site at business locations.

· This role requires prolonged standing or moving around on feet, lifting large rolls of vinyl, working on ladders, and ability to lift 50lbs or more.

Full Time. 32-40 hours a week. Hourly, bi-weekly pay.

Compensation based on experience and qualifications: $14-18 per hour.
