Veterinary Assistant/ Receptionist

We are looking for a personable, intelligent, capable, experienced Veterinary Assistant/ Receptionist! Salary based on certification and experience.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to run in-house Laboratory equipment, perform urinalysis, cytologies, etc
- Ability to assist with anesthetic induction and monitoring of anesthetized patients
- Possess the knowledge and ability to safely handled patients
- Perform blood draws, and iv catheter placement
- Provide compassionate animal care
- Is a team player
- Customer service oriented, friendly, and provide client education
- Optimistic, with a positive outlook and personality
- Must have basic computer literacy skills
- Ability to multitask while working in a busy environment
- Must also be able to lift 50 pounds, stand for long periods, and write legibly
- Professional appearance required; scrubs are to be worn at all times

Pay: $12.00 - $17.00 per hour
