What are the responsibilities and job description for the Line Cook position at BLOWING ROCK BREWING CO?
Blowing Rock Brewing Co in Blowing Rock, NC is looking for an experienced, attentive, punctual and reliable Line Cook. Wages are highly competitive and will compete with market standards.
We are looking for someone who is willing to start early to mid April with an open availability. We are also open to working with, and can accommodate, around school schedules. Our kitchen is a fast paced, team based environment, especially during the holidays and the summer/fall. It is crucial to be able to work with others and respect co-workers, but most importantly, our team has a great time working together.
Responsibilities
- Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies
- Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff
- Direct food processing and handling
- Monitor and manage food temperature and inventory stock
- Clean up station and take care of leftover food
- Follow health and safety guidelines
Qualifications
- Cooking experience or Back of the House experience
- Able to meet all scheduling commitments
- Able to anticipate needs of others in the kitchen and proactively work to meet those needs
- Strong attention to detail
