Pool Manager/Lifeguard

Job Summary
The Blowing Rock Pool Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Robbins Pool while ensuring a safe and enjoyable environment for all guests. This role involves managing staff, maintaining pool chemicals, pool cleanliness, safety standards, and providing excellent customer services.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and train lifeguards and pool staff to ensure adherence to safety protocols.
• Conduct regular inspections of the pool area, ensuring cleanliness and proper maintenance.
• Oversee pool cleaning and maintenance schedules, including water quality testing and chemical balancing.
• Respond to guest inquiries and concerns promptly, providing exceptional customer service.
• Enforce pool rules and regulations to maintain a safe environment for all patrons.
• Coordinate swim lessons and other aquatic programs as needed.
• Assist and manage inventory for pool supplies.
• Maintain accurate records of pool operations, incidents, and staff schedules.

Skills

• Proficient in First Aid and CPR certification is required.
• Lifeguard Certification is required.
• Experience in pool cleaning and maintenance practices.
• Strong swimming skills with the ability to demonstrate techniques if necessary.
• Excellent guest service skills with a friendly demeanor.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting as required for equipment handling.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
