Field Electrical Supervisor

Description

 The Electrical Supervisor is responsible for managing crew members, maintaining productivity standards and works closely with customers ensuring that quality products and services are being safely provided.  Supervisor is expected to regularly inspect sites, execute work as necessary, maintain equipment, and delegate work.  The Supervisor must exhibit working knowledge of all parts of the project and should be able to troubleshoot the mechanics and equipment on site. 

Requirements

Role and Responsibilities:

• Assist Ops Manager with project management duties to include bid process, materials sourcing, job walks, etc.
• Field duties include assisting where needed on jobs - conduit, wiring, etc.
• Prepare, install, and provide service maintenance on all company products at client sites.
• Keep accurate records of all hours logged, inventory parts used, and services performed.
• Maintain professional behavior and proper communication with internal and external contacts, including company employees, customers, and outside vendors.
• Properly utilize, care for, and secure all company tools, supplies, and vehicles.
• Comply with all corporate policies and OSHA rules while carrying out all work processes.
• Effectively manage time, follow directions and complete work within specified time.
• Ensure quality of installation projects and maintenance
• Successfully complete requested training classes and maintain all necessary safety certificates.
• Assist with inventory counts.
• Manage the time of the crews to be sure that work is being done efficiently.
• Keep work area clean, organized, and hazard free.
• Review billing of work done to ensure accurate invoices.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid Drivers License and clean driving record
• Must possess the ability to work with hand tools.
• Must be a detail oriented, self-starter, and able to work with minimal supervision.
• Must have the ability to work both cooperatively and independently.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Must have a good attitude and the ability to learn new skills.
• Must be a team player, willingness to help.
• Must have the ability to adapt positively to changes in policies, procedures and priorities, or work environments.
• Ability to read and write English required.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

Work primarily at job site performing work in outdoor weather conditions with exposure to extreme temperatures.
