Residential Accounts Payable Clerk
Building and Land Technology “BLT” is seeking a Residential Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team in Stamford, CT. The primary function of this role is to provide day to day accounts payable functions for BLT’s portfolio of apartment communities. The Residential Accounts Payable Clerk would report to the Accounts Payable Supervisor.
Responsibilities of the Residential Accounts Payable Clerk
• Sort, code, enter & match invoices against PO’s.
• Obtain approvals, issue checks, obtain check signatures & mailing of checks.
• Confirm vendor information is complete before paying invoices.
• Review vendor statements to verify all invoices have been processed.
• Track & review utilities log.
• Scanning & filing of all residential A/P checks & invoices.
• Set up and maintain all accounting files annually.
• Responsible for neat and orderly file room.
Qualifications of the Residential Accounts Payable Clerk
• 1-3 years A/P data entry experience.
• Experience with real estate accounting software.
• Attention to detail and accuracy is essential.
• Team player & ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
