Responsibilities of the Marketing Intern:
Content Creation and Management
- Develop content for Instagram, Facebook, Newsletters and other platforms; creating 3 posts per week
- Capture video content and create promotional reels
- Maintain a content calendar for consistent posting through Sprout.
- Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and mentions.
- Foster engagement through likes, comments, and shares.
- Track and analyze social media metrics.
- Design and distribute weekly newsletters.
- Manage corporate LinkedIn account with updates and engagement.
- Create flyers and graphics for event promotion.
- Share event details across social media platforms.
- Assist in photography needs.
Requirements of the Marketing Intern:
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's program, preferably in Marketing, Communications, or related field
- Prior content creation experience, personal or professional required
- Experience with video production/videography or photography is a plus
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Creativity and a keen eye for detail
- Basic knowledge of content creation tools and platforms (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, Photoshop) is a plus
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Knowledge of digital marketing trends and best practices is a plus
- Possible evening availability may be required.
