Duties
- Perform a variety of dental procedures, including examinations, cleanings, fillings, extractions, and root canal therapy.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation and patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Utilize medical imaging techniques to diagnose and treat dental conditions effectively.
- Educate patients on oral health care and preventive measures.
- Collaborate with dental hygienists and assistants to provide four-handed dentistry for efficient patient care.
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in dentistry and participate in continuing education opportunities.
- Ensure the practice environment is safe, clean, and welcoming for all patients.
Skills
- Proficient in medical documentation and familiar with medical terminology.
- Knowledge of dental terminology and anatomy is essential.
- Experience with Dentrix or similar dental practice management software is preferred.
- Strong skills in dental extractions, root canal therapy, and other essential dental procedures.
- Ability to perform medical imaging techniques accurately.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and staff.
- Understanding of HIPAA regulations to maintain patient confidentiality.
- Comfortable diagnosing, treating and keeping most procedures in house.

Pay: $227,310.00 - $250,894.00 per year
