ABOUT THE ROLE: Blu Dot is seeking a skilled and dynamic Outlet Associate to join our Minneapolis outlet store team. The ideal candidate is self-motivated and capable of working both independently and collaboratively. This role requires sound judgment and the ability to make effective decisions, even under stress. Strong communication skills across all levels of management are essential, along with flexibility and adaptability to change. The successful candidate will possess excellent organizational and multitasking abilities, be proficient with computers, and demonstrate outstanding customer service skills

WHAT YOU WILL DO:
- Receive and organize inventory upon arrival.
- Pick and pack customer orders accurately
- Provide friendly assistance to customers loading their purchases.
- Safely and efficiently operate material handling equipment.
- Assist with assembly and repackaging tasks
- Clean products as necessary
- Maintain safe and clean work environment
- Utilize product knowledge and design insights to highlight merchandise features and benefits.
- Ensure items are securely packaged for outgoing shipments.
- Assist with showroom set up for open hours
- Provide sales support in the showroom as needed
- Other duties as assigned
IDEAL EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS*:
- Experience in back-of-house, warehouse, or retail preferred; sales experience is a plus
- Preferred candidates have direct experience in furniture retail or service industry
- Must be able to lift/carry 0-75 pounds frequently and 75 - 150 pounds occasionally
- Must be able to push/pull up to 200 pounds occasionally
- Must be able to bend/twist/stoop frequently
- Availability to regularly work weekends is required
- Proficient in Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) or similar
- Must be able to operate independently on assigned tasks
Salary : $20 - $23
