Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for preparing and serving beverages in a fast-paced environment, while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organization.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to recipes and customer preferences.
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces.
- Manage cash register operations, including cash handling and processing transactions accurately.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and making recommendations.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food and drinks during events such as catering or banquets.
- Monitor inventory levels of bar supplies and assist in ordering stock as needed.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including responsible alcohol service practices.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service or bartending is preferred, particularly in nightclub or fine dining settings.
- Strong cash handling skills with the ability to operate a cash register efficiently.
- Knowledge of brewing techniques and various beverage recipes is a plus.
- Excellent hospitality skills with a friendly demeanor and the ability to work well under pressure.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and managing tabs effectively.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required by the venue's schedule.
