Responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas, including tables, chairs, and floors.
- Assist servers by promptly clearing dirty dishes, utensils, and glassware from tables.
- Refill water glasses and provide additional support to guests as needed.
- Set up and break down dining areas for events or catering services.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and servers to ensure smooth operations.
- Help maintain stock levels of tableware, linens, and other supplies.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations within the restaurant environment.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not required.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with guests and team members.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- A positive attitude and willingness to help others in a team-oriented atmosphere.
- Knowledge of bussing procedures and food service standards is an advantage.
