Duties
- Supervise daily operations to ensure smooth workflow and high-quality service.
- Manage shift schedules, ensuring adequate staffing levels for peak times.
- Oversee food production processes, maintaining quality and safety standards.
- Assist in budgeting and financial planning to optimize operational efficiency.
- Train, mentor, and evaluate staff performance, fostering a collaborative team atmosphere.
- Address customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly to enhance guest satisfaction.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and presentation.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, bar, and service stations.
Experience
- Proven experience in a supervisory role within the food service or hospitality industry.
- Strong knowledge of food production techniques and safety regulations.
- Experience with budgeting and financial management in a restaurant or hotel setting.
- Familiarity with shift management practices to ensure optimal staff performance.
- Skills in bartending or coffee preparation are advantageous but not required.
