What are the responsibilities and job description for the Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) position at Blu Omega LLC?
Job Summary
The ISSO shall proactively review, update, and maintain cybersecurity policy, guidance documents, directives, templates, and materials to ensure all documentation reflects and incorporates the most recent version of all cybersecurity program documentation. The ISSO, with direction, shall provide Cyber security and Privacy requirements and guidance, including, but not limited to the following:
Qualifications
- Over 5 years of experience in information technology (IT) or cybersecurity
- TS/SCI clearance
- Proven experience in implementing or assessing security controls within information systems
- Familiarity with the risk management framework and NIST 800-53 standards
- Strong ability to monitor and track remediation progress
- Effective collaboration skills to work with information system owners, risk managers, and security professionals on security control implementation
This is a 100% onsite position.
