Summary :

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Head of Studio to lead and manage our gaming projects and teams. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the gaming industry, exceptional leadership skills, and a passion for creating engaging and innovative gaming experiences. As a Head of Studio, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire game development process, from concept to release, ensuring that all projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will work closely with various other departments to ensure that all aspects of the game are aligned with the company's vision and goals. Additionally, you will be responsible for staying up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies, and for fostering a creative and collaborative work environment. If you have a proven track record of successful game development and a passion for pushing the boundaries of what is possible in gaming, we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities :

  • Oversee the entire game development process from concept to release.
  • Lead and manage a team of game developers, mathematicians, artists, and other professionals.
  • Ensure all projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
  • Collaborate with various departments to ensure alignment with the company's vision and goals.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies.
  • Foster a creative and collaborative work environment.
  • Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets.
  • Monitor and report on project progress and performance.
  • Identify and mitigate risks and issues that may impact project success.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to team members.
  • Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback to team members.
  • Manage relationships with external partners and stakeholders.
  • Coordinate and lead meetings and presentations.
  • Ensure effective communication and collaboration across all departments.
  • Develop and maintain project documentation and records.
  • Evaluate and implement new tools and technologies to improve the development process.
  • Ensure the quality and consistency of all game content.
  • Drive innovation and creativity in game design and development.
  • Represent the company at industry events and conferences.
  • Requirements :

  • Bachelor's degree in Game Design, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 10 years of experience in the gaming industry.
  • Proven track record of successful game development.
  • Strong leadership and management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Deep understanding of game design principles and processes.
  • Experience with project management tools and methodologies.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to think creatively and innovatively.
  • Knowledge of programming languages and software development tools.
  • Experience with budgeting and financial management.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

  • PHYSICAL DEMANDS :

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is also regularly required to stand, walk, sit, and use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls.

    Employment at Bluberi is on an at-will basis unless otherwise stated in a written individual employment agreement signed by Bluberi’s CEO. This means you and / or Bluberi have the right to terminate employment at any time for any reason with or without cause or notice, as applicable to federal or state law.

    Immigration Law Compliance

    Bluberi is committed to full compliance with the federal immigration laws. These laws require all individuals to complete an employment eligibility verification procedure when hired. All new Team members are required to electronically complete and sign an I-9 form and furnish original documentation for proof of identity and proof of eligibility to work in the United States within (3) business days of their first day of employment. Changes in immigration status must be reported to HR as soon as they occur.

    Employment Classification

    To determine eligibility for benefits and overtime status and to ensure compliance with federal and state laws and regulations, Bluberi uses the following classifications. Employment classifications are based on the guidelines of the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) and, as circumstances dictate, Bluberi may review or change employment classifications at any time.

    Exempt : Exempt Team members are paid on a salary basis and are not eligible to receive overtime pay.

    Non-exempt : Non-exempt Team members are paid on an hourly basis and are eligible to receive overtime pay for overtime hours worked.

    Regular, full time : Team members who are not in a temporary status and work a minimum of 30 hours weekly and maintain continuous employment status. These Team members are eligible for the full-time benefits package and are subject to the terms, conditions, and limitations of each benefits program.

    Regular, part time : Team members who are not in a temporary status and who are regularly scheduled to work less than 30 hours weekly, but at least 20 hours weekly, and who maintain continuous employment status. Part-time Team members are eligible for some of the benefits offered by the company and are subject to the terms, conditions, and limitations of each benefits program.

    Temporary, full-time : Individuals who are hired as interim workers to temporarily supplement the workforce or to assist in the completion of a specific project and who are temporarily scheduled to work the company’s full-time schedule for a limited duration. Employment beyond any initial stated period does not imply a change in employment status.

    Temporary, part-time : Individuals who are hired as interim workers to temporarily supplement the workforce or to assist in the completion of a specific project and who are temporarily scheduled to work less than 30 hours weekly for a limited duration. Employment beyond any initial stated period does not imply a change in employment status.
