This position will oversee all PX functions for our US-based employees, ensuring efficient and effective human resources operations. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in employee relations, HR systems (preferably UKG), engagement and culture, performance management, workers' compensation. A background in gaming manufacturing or a tech-based startup is highly desirable, as is the ability to manage both remote and in-office employees. This role is a blend of strategic HR management and hands-on operational execution. Essential Functions : PX Operations Management : Oversee PX operations for approximately 150 employees across the United States, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal labor laws.Manage employee relations, performance management, and provide support to both remote and in-office teams.Responsible for new hire onboarding for the United StatesEmployee Engagement & Development : Support employee engagement initiatives to foster a positive work environment, both for remote and in-office employees.Provide coaching and support to managers and employees regarding performance, conflict resolution, and professional development.Design, develop, and facilitate impactful learning and development programs that enhance employee skills, knowledge, and overall organizational effectiveness.HR System Management (UKG preferred) : Manage and maintain the UKG HRIS system to ensure accuracy of employee data, time and attendance, and benefits administration.Troubleshoot and resolve system issues, working with IT or UKG support as needed.Utilize UKG analytics and reporting features to generate PX metrics and insights to guide decision-making.Compliance & Risk Management : Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws, including OSHA, EEOC, FMLA, ADA, and wage / hour regulations.Stay up-to-date with changes in labor laws and PX best practices and implement necessary updates to policies and procedures.Handle sensitive employee matters, ensuring confidentiality and adherence to company policies.Workers’ Compensation : Work closely with insurance carriers and external vendors to manage the workers’ compensation process, from claim filing to resolution.Track and report on workers’ compensation metrics, ensuring timely resolution and return-to-work programs.Additional Duties as Assigned : Provide PX leadership for special projects or organizational changes as needed.Assist in the development and communication of company policies, procedures, and guidelines.Partner with the leadership team to align PX strategies with company goals and objectives. Work environment : This is a hybrid role, in Las VegasMust have the ability to work in an office environment, with occasional travel to other locations a needed. Preferred education and experience Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. HR certifications (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP) preferred.5 years of HR experience, with a strong background in workers’ compensation and HR systems management.Experience managing HR for remote and in-office employees across multiple locations.Familiarity with UKG HRIS system (or similar HR systems) is highly preferred.Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with employees at all levels, including strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.Skilled in presenting complex information clearly and concisely to diverse audiences.Experience fostering collaboration and engagement through active listening and open dialogue.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including advanced knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.Experience using Microsoft Teams and SharePoint for collaboration and document management.Ability to analyze and present data using Excel tools such as pivot tables, charts, and formulas.Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.Experience in creating and implementing HR policies and procedures that align with organizational goals.Knowledge of employment laws and best practices in HR compliance and reporting.
