Blue & Co., LLC is a dynamic and innovative accounting firm that provides growth-committed entrepreneurial clients with accounting and consulting services. With a commitment to excellence and a track record of success, we seek a dedicated Client Accounting Services (CAS) Manager or Senior Manager to join our Columbus, OH (Westerville) office. In this role you will help drive our strategic growth initiatives while delivering exceptional client service and providing strong guidance and mentorship to our existing staff. This role will also support practice growth through client knowledge and support, client and community relations, and business development activities.
Responsibilities:
- Provide Accounting and Finance services and leadership to our clients across a wide array of industries.
- Provide internal support to our clients with day-to-day accounting duties and provide oversight and strategic direction in financial decisions.
- Oversee, produce and present financial statements and results
- Develop and maintain insightful analytical reports
- Drive the implementation of best practices and efficiencies.
- Timely responsiveness to client inquiries
- Proactively work with Tax teams to provide tax planning and preparation support
- Plan and manage workflows, scheduling, and training of staff and senior accountants within the CAS Practice
- Perform various other duties to support the continued growth and success of the CAS Team
Qualifications:
- 5 years of current or recent Public Accounting experience.
- Strong accounting software skills, including QuickBooks (required). Additional experience with ERP systems and accounting software packages, (SAGE Intacct, Netsuite, SAP, etc) is highly desired.
- Proven ability to lead a team, execute on strategy and develop team members
- Demonstrated ability to oversee and manage engagements, prioritize engagements, and supervise/motivate staff
- Well-organized, able to multi-task and prioritize, attentive to detail and possess solid interpersonal communications skills.
- Strong sense of diplomacy and tact; ability to build rapport with clients across various levels and functions including C suite
