Client Accounting Services Manager
Blue & Co., LLC is a dynamic and innovative accounting and advisory firm focused on providing expertise to growth-oriented entrepreneurial clients. We are seeking a dedicated Client Accounting Services (CAS) Manager to join our Cincinnati, OH office. In this role you will help drive our strategic growth initiatives while delivering exceptional client service and providing strong guidance and mentorship to our existing staff. This role will focus on Construction and Manufacturing clients but may gain exposure to other industries as well.
Responsibilities:
• Provide “Controller-level” Accounting and Finance services and leadership to clients mainly in the Construction and Manufacturing industries.
• Provide external and on-site support to clients, helping them solve complex accounting and system issues, and providing strategic direction in financial decisions.
• Build and expand relationships with client and community contacts; contribute to the overall marketing and growth efforts of the Cincinnati office and the firm.
• Drive the implementation of best practices and efficiencies in relation to client engagement, market growth, and staff/team workflows.
• Proactively work with Tax teams to provide tax planning and preparation support
• Perform various other duties to support the continued growth and success of the CAS Team
Qualifications:
• 10 years of experience which includes a combination of Public and Corporate Accounting experience, primarily in the Construction and/or Manufacturing industries.
• Strong accounting software skills, including QuickBooks (required). Additional experience with ERP systems and accounting construction industry specific software packages, (Computerease, Foundation, Sage & Viewpoint) is highly desired.
• CPA preferred
• Proven ability to lead a team, execute on strategy and develop team members
• Demonstrated ability to oversee and manage engagements, prioritize engagements, and supervise/motivate staff
• Ability and desire to drive business growth and new client acquisition.
• Well-organized, able to multi-task and prioritize, attentive to detail and possess solid interpersonal communications skills.
• Strong sense of diplomacy and tact; ability to build rapport with clients across various levels and functions including C suite
