Blue Bell Creameries is seeking an Auto/Diesel Mechanic for the Broken Arrow, OK location.
An auto/diesel mechanic’s responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Performs PM maintenance on all types of vehicles (light duty and heavy-duty vehicles, forklifts, construction equipment, etc)
- Diagnose and make repairs on all types of vehicles (light duty and heavy-duty vehicles, forklifts, construction equipment, etc)
- Use computer software to diagnose vehicles and follow diagnostic trees to make necessary repairs.
- Assist the Fleet Parts department in identifying the parts needed to complete repairs by using OEM parts support systems.
- Use Fleet Management System to look up recent repairs and warranty available before making a repair.
- Work with drivers on vehicle issues to help identify problem areas.
- Log time daily into Fleet Management system to track labor costs on each repair.
The position is full-time and pays hourly.
The typical hours for this location are Monday-Friday, working a 9-hour shift.
