What are the responsibilities and job description for the Electrical Technician position at Blue Bell Creameries?
Blue Bell Creameries is seeking an Electrical Engineering Technician for the Broken Arrow, OK manufacturing plant.
REQUIRED:
- Two-year degree minimum in Electrical Distribution, related field or experience
- Fluent with electrical code work practices such; NEC, 70E & OSHA related safety requirements
- Comfortable working with 480V, Electric motors, and all other aspects of an industrial setting
- Recognize & address electrical safety
- Familiar with ACAD
- New project planning and support, working along other engineering & trade groups
OTHER PREFERRED DUTIES: (may require additional training)
- Use of E-tap for the purpose of; Coordination Studies, Arc-flash, Labels & related PPE
- Control panel building UL 508
- Occasional travel to other plants to assist with projects
- Occasional travel to distribution centers to provide temporary generator power
- Provide electrical monthly safety training
- Equipment upgrades, maintenance, Infrared inspections (IR) & trouble shooting electrical systems such: MCC’s, Main distribution switch panels, Soft-starts, Drives & some knowledge in controls
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
- Self-motivated individual to work with electrical equipment in an industrial setting to cover all aspects of electrical distribution.
