We are pleased to share that we have a career opportunity for a Recruiter - (High Volume) as a strategic part of the Blue Bird Human Resources Team.
JOB SUMMARY:
We are looking for a Recruiter - (High Volume) who will be responsible for executing mass hiring practices and creatively sourcing candidates for our factory hourly workforce across multiple sites. This person will support the operations and plant hourly positions by filling large numbers of general labor and skilled hourly positions. The successful candidate will work closely with the HR team and hiring managers to ensure a smooth, efficient, and full-lifecycle recruitment process
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Execute mass hiring practices, including conducting mass interviewing days, attending job fairs, recruiting events, and networking within the community
- Utilize various recruitment tools to source talent and build candidate pipelines, including really, ZipRecruiter, internal applicant tracking systems (ATS), employee referrals, job boards, and other sourcing strategies as required
- Create a memorable candidate experience by energizing candidates around the organization’s employment value proposition
- Independently interview and evaluate candidates, both internal and external, and refer qualified applicants to department managers for consideration
- Process internal candidate job bidding and manage ATS job postings and candidate management
- Maintain relationships with inactive/passive candidates and build a network of strong talent in the marketplace
- Provide ongoing communication with Hiring Managers, HR Business Partners, and key stakeholders on the status of candidates and progress
- Perform other related duties as assigned
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- High School Diploma
- 3 years’ experience in high-volume recruitment, particularly for general labor and skilled hourly positions
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Prior experience recruiting for multiple locations simultaneously.
- Strong aptitude in using Microsoft Office Suite products such as Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
TO BE A GOOD FIT:
- Experience with various recruitment sourcing techniques (i.e., really, ZipRecruiter, employee referrals, etc.)
- A working knowledge of Internet recruiting technology and solid computer proficiency
- Demonstrated success in building credible relationships and proactively partnering with business leaders throughout the recruitment and selection process
- Ability to think creatively, multi-task, and stay extremely organized
