Job Description
As the Auto Body Technician, you will make repairs to metal, plastic, and fiberglass parts of vehicles.

As the Auto Body Technician, you will make repairs to metal, plastic, and fiberglass parts of vehicles.
What You Can Plan On Doing
- Plan necessary work and complete work orders using various tools; cutting gun, plasma cutters, hydraulic jacks, hammers, pliers
- Hammer out dents, dimples, and other minor body damages
- Mix and apply filler resins to repair dents
- Realign chassis and frames to repair structural damage
- Replaces or repairs glass and windshield and other interior/exterior parts as needed.
- Weld and attach or fit parts into place.
- Prepares and repoints vehicle with factory-specified pain or agreed-upon equivalent.
- Read job orders
- Work with other repairers within auto body shop
- Understanding of methods and procedures to repair vehicle body
- understanding of how to use tools required for the trades
- Vocational/technical school program or apprenticeship in auto repair/ related field.
- Valid driver's license/ reliable transportation.
- Willingness to learn.
- Must supply your own hand tools
- Be able to bend, stretch, kneel, and squat to perform repairs and safety inspection.
- Must be able to life 50 pounds at times.
