Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Complete basic engineering tasks related to product design, analysis, testing, integration and systems engineering
- Under the supervision of an experienced engineer, perform analysis on existing products; assist in the design and development of future products: perform analysis on both completed and future launches; and conduct quality assurance on system safety, launch and production operations.
- Engage in projects and/or studies that promote continuous improvement and operational efficiency.
- Showcase learnings obtained during the internship program by presenting outcomes of key projects to members of the Engineering leadership team and/or members of Blue Birds’ Executive Leadership Team.
- Ability to work semi-autonomously with appropriate guidance and direction
- Able to work full-time (40 hours/week) for a 15-week period beginning May 19, 2025 – September 5, 2025
- Sophomore, Junior, Senior or Graduate level student pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering
- At least 18 years of age prior to the start of the internship assignment
- Minimum GPA of 3.0
