We are searching for a full time Industrial Engineer for our Client's team in Dalton Georgia. They are a leader in the market!!
We're looking for a process optimization expert to boost manufacturing efficiency, minimize downtime, and cut costs. This role involves in-depth analysis, troubleshooting, and process improvement, as well as quality control, project management, and automation. The successful candidate will develop business cases and ROI analyses for capital expenditure projects focused on cost savings, growth, and business maintenance.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and resolve problems through root cause analysis and implement corrective actions
- Develop and implement industry-leading manufacturing process standards and best practices
- Create procedures to enhance safety, mixing, setup, cleanup, and material handling
- Provide technical support to manufacturing operations, focusing on engineering and process expertise
- Optimize manufacturing processes to drive productivity, quality, and safety improvements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate new processes, technologies, and equipment seamlessly
- Analyze process data to identify trends and propose solutions for ongoing improvement
- Work with cost accounting to optimize standards across all processes
- Conduct process capability studies and statistical analysis to inform data-driven decision-making
- Ensure all process engineering activities meet safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements
Requirements
- Engineering background and degree preferred
- At least 5 years of experience in manufacturing, quality control, or quality assurance, with a focus on Lean processes
- Certifications or training in Six Sigma, Lean, or process management
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for internal and external discussions
- Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment, interacting with manufacturing process teams and customers.
This is a full time position that is onsite in Dalton, Georgia
Salary is DOE 100-125k
