We are looking for a Full Stack .Net Developer for our Cincinnati based customer. You must have experience as a .NET CORE 6 Entity Framework Developer. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining .NET Core applications using Entity Framework Core 6 . This position will be responsible for designing and developing software applications to make business processes more efficient and effective using technology based on Microsoft development tools. This person must gather and analyze the requirements and specifications by working with Sales and Operations team. You will also be required to provide support and assistance on existing applications and systems.
Core Responsibilities, must exhibit proven ability to:
- Design and develop solutions for windows-based applications using the .NET framework (C#).
- Analyze information, requirements, and specifications to business requirement
- Modify existing applications/solutions to implement additional features and functionality.
- Ability to analyze and research existing application code bases to learn and subsequently enhance with little guidance.
- Consults with business leaders to develop understanding of varied and complex business needs supported by the system.
- Provides technical support for web and windows-based applications, as required
- Most tasks will be completed as part of modification of existing or creation of new API endpoints in a REST API .NET project
Technical Skills:
- Must be up to date with modern C# methodologies as described by the Microsoft MSDN library coding standards for C#
- 3-7 years of .NET 6 required
- 3-7 years of .NET Core required
- 3-7 years of Entity Framework experience is required
- 3-5 years working with with REST API
- 3-7 years of Windows Development (Visual Studio) is required
- 3 years of experience working in a SQL Server 2016/29/22 environment-- full stack development & understanding of Database development
- Documentation and communication skills with Confluence or similar tool to eliminate tech debt
- You will work with the business and technical team. Must have the ability to explain things and do analysis. While most of the role is "Development," you must have business skills to interact and ask questions of the end users. You will work on a 10-15 member team.
- Proficiency in Git Version Control or similar software
- Comfort with code review by your peers
- College degree not required
Logistics:
This is a 6-12 month contract with possibility for extension
5 days a week onsite for the first 120 days
Hybrid (1 day a week remote) possible after the initial 120 days
