Our client, a leading manufacturer, is seeking an experienced Senior Strategic Sourcing Category Manager to drive procurement objectives and develop strategic sourcing initiatives.
Job Summary :
We are looking for a seasoned procurement professional to lead the development and execution of category strategies for metal extrusions, hardware, and MRO. The ideal candidate will have experience in category management, procurement execution, and data analytics.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop and execute cross-functional category strategies to drive excellence across cost, quality, delivery, and innovation
- Build and maintain strategic relationships with key suppliers
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners to support initiatives and drive business results
- Analyze spend and market trends to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements
- Develop and implement plans to meet or exceed critical KPIs
- Lead quality improvement programs and supplier development initiatives
