Job Overview:
This position performs high-level technical systems analysis and programming, specializing in ServiceNow development and implementation. The role is responsible for managing application projects from concept to completion, preparing detailed specifications, and ensuring maximum automation and system availability. The ideal candidate will have experience migrating to ServiceNow Employee Center, integrating the HR module, and leveraging new ServiceNow features, including those not currently in use. Additionally, this role requires the ability to capture and communicate requirements from customers, ensuring solutions align with business needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a liaison between IT and business users, effectively gathering, analyzing, and communicating requirements.
- Stay up to date with new ServiceNow features, identifying opportunities for adoption and process improvement.
- Perform system development, including design, coding, testing, debugging, and documentation.
- Ensure project solutions—including system acquisition and modifications—align with departmental goals and objectives.
- Provide customer support and issue resolution to maximize system availability, escalating critical issues as necessary.
- Maintain records of the problem-solving process, documenting both successful and unsuccessful resolutions.
- Offer leadership and mentorship, ensuring project tasks are completed accurately and on schedule.
- Participate in technical training and professional development to stay current on emerging technologies
- Upcoming Projects:
- Lead the migration to ServiceNow Employee Center, integrating new functionalities and optimizing workflows.
- Implement and support the ServiceNow HR module, ensuring seamless adoption and functionality.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems or a related field (or equivalent experience in lieu of a degree).
- 4 years of experience in a related field with a focus on ServiceNow development and implementation.
- Strong understanding of ServiceNow Employee Center, HR module, and emerging platform features.
- Ability to gather, document, and communicate business requirements effectively.
- Proven analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Ability to execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
