Job Description:
We're looking for a detail-driven and strategic sourcing professional to join our client's team in supporting the procurement of engineered components and assemblies. This role ensures suppliers meet technical specifications, cost targets, and business objectives while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Translate technical requirements into sourcing criteria with engineering teams
- Support RFQ/RFP/RFI analysis and supplier evaluations
- Map supplier capabilities to product families and perform cost analysis
- Track performance metrics and generate reports using procurement and ERP systems
Core Competencies:
- Technical:
- Interpret engineering drawings and specifications
- Develop global sourcing strategies and manage suppliers
- Analyze costs and model total cost of ownership
- Understand supply chain logistics and risk management
- Use ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) and analytical tools (Excel, Power BI)
- Soft Skills:
- Analytical problem-solving and data-driven decision-making
- Collaborate with engineering, quality, and procurement teams
- Communicate technical details effectively
- Negotiate with suppliers and manage trade-offs
- Maintain accuracy and adapt to shifting priorities
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or related field

This is a contract to hire opportunity based on site in Los Angeles
Compensation is DOE $40-$50/hour, $70k-$100k annually once converted to full time
