Program Manager- Supplier Quality
Our client is seeking a contract to hire Program Manager to lead Supplier Quality and Supplier Development initiatives.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Develop and execute strategic initiatives around supplier management
- Plan, coordinate, and monitor project timelines, budgets, and resources.
- Coordinate and lead cross functional teams across product management, engineering and strategic sourcing
- Manage supplier relationships, timelines and internal team coordination
- Lead project teams focused on supplier selection, setting supplier KPIs and driving accountability
- Set and continuously manage supplier standards around quality, delivery and documentation
- Focus on Supply Chain Optimization within given product sub sets by utilizing methods such as reverse engineering , product simplification, and material substitution
Qualification Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in Supplier Development or Supplier Quality within a manufacturing environment.
- Proven success in leading cross-functional teams and delivering timely impactful program / projects results.
- Demonstrated technical aptitude needed to evaluate product designs and suggest improvements
- Proven experience with first article inspection and associated documentation
- A strong bias towards hands-on involvement and leadership by example. Proactive and result oriented
- Bachelor's Degree in a technical, business, engineering or other related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
- PMP Certification is a plus.
This is a long term contract opportunity, $45-$65/hour DOE
This is a hybrid position based in the Los Angeles area, 3 days a week onsite, 2 days a week remote

Salary : $45 - $70
