What are the responsibilities and job description for the Armed Security Guard position at Blue Chip Services, LLC?
Blue Chip Services, LLC is looking for experienced Armed Security Officers to work in the North Houston area. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preventing theft, vandalism, and unauthorized access while ensuring the safety of personnel and property on a construction site. You MUST be vigilant, decisive, and prepared to respond effectively to any security threats.
OVERNIGHT SHIFTS: MONDAY-SUNDAY 7 PM - 7 AM
Limited Day Shifts Available between Monday - Sunday 7 AM - 7 PM
Responsibilities include:
- Monitor and patrol assigned areas to ensure a strong security presence at all times.
- Prevent and respond to theft, trespassing, vandalism, and other security breaches.
- Respond to emergency situations and provide assistance as needed
- Write detailed incident reports and maintain accurate daily logs.
- Coordinate with local law enforcement when required.
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Must have a valid Commissioned Security License
- Must be able to pass a background check
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to remain calm and professional in high-stress situations
- This position requires the ability to stand or walk for extended periods of time, and the ability to lift or move objects up to 50 pounds.
- MUST be punctual, reliable, and maintain a professional demeanor AT ALL TIMES.
- Ability to work overnight shifts, pick up additional shifts if needed, and be available to work weekends.
