What are the responsibilities and job description for the Traffic Control Technician position at Blue Chip Services, LLC?
MUST HAVE A MINIMUM OF 6 MONTHS EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE IN TRAFFIC CONTROL. Past job references will be required and contacted before we extend a job offer. Applicants without experience will be denied.
Job Responsibilities:
Complete assigned traffic control tasks which include but are not limited to driving a Truck Mounted Attenuator (TMA), cone truck, or other support vehicle to specified locations, assist in setting up/taking down lane closures on state highways or other roadways per TXDOT guidelines to provide protection from traffic. Safety and awareness are very important aspects of this position. By be asked to perform other work-related duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS:
- MUST have a MINIMUM of 6 months experience in driving a truck with a mounted attenuator for setting lane closures.
- MUST have a MINIMUM of 6 months experience in traffic control and assisting/setting/removing lane closures.
- Candidates must possess good knowledge of state and local roadways and have experience with operating large vehicles of varying sizes
- Ability to work in all weather conditions and lift up to 50 pounds.
- Must be able to work overnight/weekends as the project demands
SCHEDULE:
- Sunday - Thursday
- Overnight shifts 7pm - 5am

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
