Position Title: Epic Provisioning Specialist – Identity and Access Management Team
Position Overview:
This role is a key member of the Identity and Access Management (IAM) team within the Epic Provisioning group, serving as the gatekeeper for the Identity Management system. The position involves creating Epic accounts, managing user provisioning, and ensuring compliance with Epic security policies. The ideal candidate will have a thorough understanding of Epic software security structures, access management processes, and their role in supporting patient care and business operations.
Job Description:
- Oversee user provisioning, de-provisioning, and issue troubleshooting while adhering to established Identity Access and Management (IAM) controls.
- Collaborate with end-users and business contacts to assess and fulfill their access and security needs, providing clear communication about requirements and timelines.
- Execute Epic-related provisioning and security tasks in alignment with Epic security policies and procedures.
- Research, analyze, and provide solutions for routine access issues with guidance from a supervisor.
- Work closely with the IAM team to ensure access management practices align with established security guidelines and policies.
- Verify that all required Epic training is completed and approvals are obtained before granting user access to the system.
- Identify and implement enhancements to improve efficiency and strengthen security processes with general guidance from the supervisor or manager.
- Maintain a working knowledge of Data Courier to support provisioning tasks.
- Provide 24/7 on-call support as part of the IAM team.
Required Skills:
- 2 years in an EPIC Provisioning Analyst role
- Epic ‘Security Coordinator Certification’ preferred
- Working knowledge of Data Courier.
