This role will play a critical part in safeguarding our organization from first- and third-party fraud while ensuring customer trust and operational efficiency.
Fraud Tool Implementation
- Oversee the implementation of two fraud management tools:
- FICO Fraud Solutions: Leverage scoring models and strategy overlays to detect and mitigate first- and third-party fraud.
- Identity Resolution Engine (IRE): Utilize fuzzy matching logic to identify duplicate or fraudulent applications (e.g., matching similar address formats such as "Drive" to "Street").
Fraud Handling Processes
- Develop scoring models and rule-based processes to streamline the identification and resolution of fraudulent cases.
- Ensure processes comply with GLBA and other regulatory requirements, preventing automatic declines of potentially fraudulent applications without proper investigation.
Required Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Risk Management, Business, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience in fraud analysis, risk management, or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of fraud detection tools and techniques, including scoring models and rule-based systems.
