Fraud Management Analyst -# 23572

Blue Chip Talent
Farmington, MI Full Time
POSTED ON 2/5/2025
AVAILABLE BEFORE 3/4/2025

We are seeking a highly motivated Fraud Management Analyst to join our team and lead the implementation of fraud detection and prevention tools. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating and optimizing processes to identify and handle fraudulent cases efficiently while maintaining compliance with industry regulations like the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act (GLBA). This role will play a critical part in safeguarding our organization from first- and third-party fraud while ensuring customer trust and operational efficiency.

Fraud Tool Implementation

  • Oversee the implementation of two fraud management tools:
  • FICO Fraud Solutions: Leverage scoring models and strategy overlays to detect and mitigate first- and third-party fraud.
  • Identity Resolution Engine (IRE): Utilize fuzzy matching logic to identify duplicate or fraudulent applications (e.g., matching similar address formats such as "Drive" to "Street").

Fraud Handling Processes

  • Develop scoring models and rule-based processes to streamline the identification and resolution of fraudulent cases.
  • Ensure processes comply with GLBA and other regulatory requirements, preventing automatic declines of potentially fraudulent applications without proper investigation.

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Risk Management, Business, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in fraud analysis, risk management, or a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of fraud detection tools and techniques, including scoring models and rule-based systems.
  • Familiarity with GLBA compliance requirements and other regulatory standards.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to identify trends and develop actionable insights.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with experience implementing technology solutions.
