IT Project Manager

The IT Project Manager is responsible for overseeing and executing complex projects focused on enhancing healthcare IT systems and operational efficiency. This role requires strong project planning skills, including resource allocation, stakeholder coordination, and strategic decision-making. The IT Project Manager ensures projects align with business objectives and industry best practices while driving continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Independently manage complex IT projects involving multiple teams, ensuring seamless execution and alignment with healthcare operational goals.
• Oversee the planning, budgeting, and resource allocation for IT initiatives, ensuring adherence to scope, timeline, and quality standards.
• Act as a consultant on projects beyond assigned responsibilities, providing expert insights into IT system improvements and process optimization.
• Lead project teams, facilitating meetings, defining work plans, and ensuring milestones are met efficiently.
• Develop and refine project scope, objectives, and work plans to align with organizational priorities.
• Prepare and present reports, updates, and recommendations to hospital administration and key stakeholders.
• Conduct system analyses, identifying opportunities for improvement in IT infrastructure, data management, and operational workflows.
• Guide the implementation of new technologies, system upgrades, and process enhancements.
• Coordinate cross-functional collaboration, ensuring strong communication between IT teams, hospital departments, and external vendors.
• Provide mentorship and direction to support staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.
• Evaluate and recommend best practices for IT project management methodologies, compliance, and security measures in healthcare environments.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Minimum of four (4) years of experience in IT project management in a healthcare industry
• Proven ability to manage multiple high-impact projects simultaneously in a fast-paced healthcare setting.
• Expertise in project management frameworks (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid methodologies).
