Production Supervisor – Intermediate

We are seeking a Production Supervisor to lead small teams in a fast-paced, high-volume, unionized manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee production to meet goals, drive continuous improvement, and resolve issues.
• Ensure workplace safety, enforce protocols, and lead safety initiatives.
• Analyze quality and performance metrics, guiding teams to optimize efficiency.
• Manage workforce allocation, absenteeism, training, and team development.
• Lead problem-solving efforts and Kaizen projects focused on safety, cost, quality, and waste reduction.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 2 years of supervisory experience in manufacturing.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work any shift, weekends, and overtime.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Google Suite preferred).
• Valid driver’s license.

Physical Requirements:

• Work in hot/cold environments and around heavy machinery.
• Wear required safety gear (glasses, sleeves, earplugs, steel-toed shoes).
• Stand, walk, bend, reach, and lift up to 40 lbs.
• Work in tight spaces, climb ladders, and use lifts as needed.
