What are the responsibilities and job description for the Resident Engineer position at Blue Chip Talent?
We are looking for a Resident Software Engineer to write software requirements, design, and develop software to meet Component Technical Specifications. This role includes providing on-site software expertise and supporting debugging and quick software fixes at customer locations.
Responsibilities
- Write software requirements for CTS and BSP specifications
- Design and code software for assigned areas
- Assist GM engineers with root cause analysis of software anomalies
- Provide rapid software fixes (“patches”) on-site at customer locations
- Conduct software design reviews for new functions
- Support assembly plant build events and ride trips
