This is an entry level accounting position that will enable you to learn the ins and outs of almost every department in our company. - Important part of the accounting team in the closing of company financials at month-end.
- Assist in preparing financial reporting for management.
- Responsible for the reconciliation and amortization entries for Balance Sheet accounts including prepaids and accrued expenses.
- Review and post fixed assets and reconcile construction in progress.
- Enter and reconcile activity for the real estate owned and used by the business.
- Review and recalculate interest on the company’s debt obligations.
- 1-2 years staff accountant experience preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting and/or Finance required.
- CPA track preferred but not required.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to remain focused in a fast- paced environment.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong Excel skills.
