The job will help business leaders, customers and other key stakeholders to identify key customer journeys and pain points, mapping out the unique opportunities where we can differentiate as we change healthcare, developing the personas that will inform the way we deliver on the customer experience, and using best-in-class research and design methods to shape our work. This position develops project plans and schedules, refines project estimates, creates timelines and status reports; conducts project meetings for all online web properties and mobile applications.

Compensation
$80,400 - $95,000 annually
Grade IT&S 15
  • Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Kansas offers excellent competitive compensation with the goal of retaining and growing talented team members. The salary range for this role is a good faith estimate, it is estimated based on what a successful candidate might be paid. All offers presented to candidates are carefully reviewed to ensure fair, equitable pay by offering competitive salaries that align with the individual's skills, education, experience, and training. The range may vary above or below the stated amounts.
What you’ll do
  • Lead and manage projects that may have multiple owners and team members.
  • Understand and support the goals and outcomes of the project stakeholders and client leadership.
  • Oversees development and delivery of project deliverables, status reports and other work products.
  • Serves as owner of all incidents reported by members, groups, providers and customer service and ensures resolution in a timely and effective manner.
  • Collaborates with cross-functional areas and 3rd party agencies to execute digital strategy.
  • Serve as internal and external client-facing liaison for CS, advocating for decision making based on customer feedback, web analytics, stakeholder input and other data analysis.
  • Define ways and methods in which human-centered design, service design, agile development, product development, data analytics, digital communications and technology can enable digital transformation to improve customer service while maintaining cost benefit analysis and brand image.
  • Interpret contractual language and benefit coding summaries of all Blue Cross Blue Shield of Kansas lines of business. Research new benefit plans and determine their impact on benefits in BlueAccess. Research current benefit plans, coverage, accumulators to determine how BlueAccess show appropriate display information to members.
  • Work with project management to establish timelines, resource types and hours for project planning and staffing.
  • Identify, advocate and promote digital solutions for corporate teams, processes and initiatives.
What you need
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
  • Knowledge of web compliance and privacy standards including site accessibility.
  • Working knowledge of HTML and Java scripting
  • Subject-matter-expert for BlueAccess, mobile application, public website and web sales application and processes.
    Knowledge of application security concepts and best practices.
  • Strong understanding of testing methodologies (acceptance, regression, security, performance, usability, accessibility)
Education/Experience
  • High school diploma/GED
  • PC experience with multiple operating systems, web browsers, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Tableau, Power BI, Aquia, Adobe Analytics, Access, Acrobat and Photoshop.
  • Experience with test planning and execution of functional, acceptance and quality testing processes.
  • Occasional after hours or weekend support.
Bonus if you have
  • Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Communications, or equivalent
  • Working knowledge of CSI, Membership Eligibility, Plan Configurator, OnDemand, FOCUS, PreCert (InterQuall), QMF
  • Project management experience is preferred, including information technology related projects and business process improvements.
  • Experience working in a mixed-methodology environment (e.g., Waterfall, Scrum, Kanban, etc.)
  • Experience with system design, programming, and analysis techniques
