Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Data Governance Operations Lead to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing leadership and guidance on data governance operations across the enterprise.
Key Responsibilities
- Work with data owners enterprise-wide to ensure policies and procedures are adhered to.
- Assist with rules on new data needs and provide oversight on data policies and use cases.
- Develop action plans to align BCBSA data owners to the data governance policies.
- Support data analytics and data delivery efforts, including guidance on proper data selection and creation of reports/analytics.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business, information technology, healthcare or equivalent experience.
- Master's degree in business, information technology, healthcare or equivalent experience.
- 5 years of work experience with healthcare data and process/operations.
- Experience with defining/documenting business processes, creating data flows and defining metadata in a formal data governance and business architecture environment.
- Broad and deep understanding of healthcare data and health insurance business process.
