This person will support our Commercial & Specialty Product & Benefits business partners and agile delivery teams with a focus on the most impactful outcomes that create value for our customers and organization.Your Day to DayCollaborates with Product Management and Business Stakeholders to understand initiative and epic visionDefines and manages features backlogs in support of initiative vision - decomposing epics into features and prioritizing them appropriatelyUnderstands BCBSMA and Initiative strategy to develop and support feature-level objectives and acceptance criteriaUnderstands Enterprise Technology & Corporate Portfolio Funding mechanism to best align features and provide updates on sizing as neededSupports development of epic-level leading & lagging indicators to track initiative successAccountable for prioritization of user story & feature level backlogs for value stream epicsCollaborates with team to develop stories (requirements) that are clearly documented with appropriate acceptance criteriaSupports lead product owner in development of feature backlogs and acceptance criteriaAccountable for prioritization of user story backlogs in support of featuresSupports or creates documentation at the feature level for release management, production & operations supportParticipates in appropriate ceremonies for ongoing decomposition & prioritization (e.g., Iteration Planning, Daily Scrum, Iteration Review, Iteration Retrospective)Responsible for accepting user stories and features as done and ensuring all acceptance criteria is metAs the "Voice of the Customer", supports ongoing review and elaboration of features with business stakeholders, including incorporating any changes required to meet critical business, customer, or operational requirementsDrives story refinement sessions, communicates requirement to team, helps with design decisions and coordinates delivery of dependenciesThinks Minimum Viable Product, coupled with continuous improvementSupports feature reviews and ensures stakeholders feedback is incorporated into future sprint prioritiesDevelops & maintains in Product Ownership / Value Outcome Leadership communities of practiceMentors product owners on user story backlog prioritization techniques and associated artifactsMentors business systems analysts on user story elaboration, including primary & ancillary path creation, splitting user stories to ensure atomic requirementsThis document is not an exhaustive list of all responsibilities, skills, duties, requirements, or working conditions associated with the job.
