The Impact You Will Have
In this role you will be responsible for retaining and onboarding less complex new and retention clients through service and administration excellence. It collaborates and supports the Account Manager, and other external stakeholders, (Clients, Agents, Consultants and Brokers) to actively retain existing business. For designated accounts, this position provides service directly and timely resolution of service issues by coordinating with account managers and internal operational personnel. It works with Account Managers to ensure Blue Cross maintains and grows its market position and provides onsite client services as required.
This role is hybrid, 2 days a week in office, out of Eagan, MN
Your Responsibilities
Build external relationships with assigned customers and stakeholders (agents, clients, brokers, and consultants) to increase and maintain our market share.
Build relationships internally to represent client and coordinate with other functions to implement, complete projects, coordinate fully insured and self-insured renewals, update salesforce and address service needs.
Support engagement strategy by helping develop content for client/broker informational presentations, educational engagement events, member enrollment meetings, etc.
Assists in developing accurate member communications and materials including client collateral mailings, welcome packets, resource guides, specific member mailings, open enrollment meetings, health fairs, etc.
Help resolve escalated service issues including interactions with internal Blue Cross and Health Equity operations staff and others as needed.
Deliver client reporting, including answering questions, providing analytical guidance, etc.
Required Skills and Experiences:
3 years of related professional experience. All relevant experience including work, education, transferable skills, and military experience will be considered.
Possess and maintain a valid MN Resident Producer License in the lines of Life & Health/ Accident in good standing within 60 days of employment.
Strong analytical, problem identification and resolution skills as these pertain to benefit plans.
Strong written and verbal communication skills as well as the ability to pay close attention to detail.
Ability to understand customer expectations and "sense of urgency" resulting in the ability to influence the organization to meet and exceed customer expectations.
Strong written, oral and presentation skills. Ability to communicate with external clients.
Ability to establish matrix partnerships and follow through on expectations.
Capable of influencing internal and external stakeholders to achieve desired outcomes.
Positive attitude and the ability to participate as part of a team to assure plan compliance and client/broker satisfaction.
Overnight travel as required.
Preferred Skills and Experience
Bachelor's degree.
1 year of health plan work experience in account management/account services/sales, or other areas requiring significant customer interaction and ability to problem-solve issues to resolution.
Compensation and Benefits:
Pay Range: $67,200.00 - $89,100.00 - $111,000.00 Annual
Pay is based on several factors which vary based on position, including skills, ability, and knowledge the selected individual is bringing to the specific job.
