This position is 100% on-site in Flowood, MS. It does not have a remote or hybrid function.
Job Summary:
The Actuarial Analyst aids in the completion of various pricing, trending, reserving, forecasting, and ad hoc projects for the Actuarial department through researching data sources and gathering data; verifying data integrity; updating various actuarial models; and preparing financial, enrollment, and ad hoc reports.
Job-Specific Requirements:
· Bachelor’s Degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics or other related field
· Minimum GPA of 3.25
· One SOA exam passed strongly preferred
· Above average verbal and written communication skills
· PC skills to include Microsoft Office Suite
· Working knowledge of databases, SAS, and/or SQL preferred
