Job Summary - We are seeking an enthusiastic Document Services Specialist to join our team! In this pivotal role, you will ensure the efficient production and timely mailing of outgoing correspondence. You will handle all incoming mail, certified packages, and deliveries while maintaining accurate inventory records. Additionally, you will manage printer materials, perform courier duties, and oversee daily inventory of paper, envelopes, pamphlets, and other stored materials.
Job-Specific Requirements
- Preferred : An associate's degree or bachelor's degree, though work experience can be a substitute for educational qualifications.
- Essential : Familiarity with print activities such as paper cutting, bindery operations, and quality control.
- Strong analytical skills to make informed decisions regarding equipment operations and job scheduling.
- Proficient PC skills, including experience with Microsoft Office Suite for document tracking and weekly reports.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to produce high-quality work consistently.
- Flexibility in scheduling is essential; availability to work weekends and holidays when necessary.
- Must possess a valid Mississippi Driver's License and maintain a good driving record.
- Must be knowledgeable about the Jackson Metropolitan area.
- Ability to conduct research and quality assurance for mailing instructions.
- Physical capability to lift objects up to 70 pounds, carry items up to 25 pounds, and occasionally hold objects weighing up to 10 pounds.
