Why this job matters:
The team is seeking an intern to assist in efforts to advance organizational social responsibility initiatives, programming and events. In this position, you will work closely with BCBSRI’s culture ambassadors – Employee Business Resource Groups and various councils, to help coordinate and support ongoing events and initiatives, as well as daily administrative support.
What you will do:
Gain experience to all facets of corporate social responsibility, while supporting department operations
Attend department and committee meetings as related to the work
Assist team with event logistics, from ideation to planning and execution
Represent BCBSRI at community-based events in a professional manner
Assist with researching market trends and best practices in the evolving field of corporate social responsibility
Perform other duties as assigned.

Strong PC-based/software skills, including working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
Ability to collect and organize data
