Blue Cross of Idaho is seeking a Communications Program Manager to engage in the development and execution of strategic marketing communications to efficiently support the company's brand across various communication channels, with a focus on social media and additional digital communications priorities.
This position reports to the Director Communications, and is an onsite/hybrid work location at our Meridian Idaho campus.
Required Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or business-related field; or equivalent work experience (Two years’ relevant work experience equals one year of college to meet this requirement. If no completed degree, candidates must have 8/ years' experience in addition to the listed required experience, for a total of 13/ years' experience)
Required Experience: 5/ years marketing and/or communications experience, preferably at enterprise-level.
Your day-to-day will look like:
- Create communication programs that promote the company and its products and services through various means, with a focus on digital channels, including: blogs, social media, websites, and other promotional products and materials.
- Work with internal and external partners to support and promote the company’s public image, including collaborating with company community relations activities which are a frequent topic for internal communications and social media.
- Lead day-to-day management of Blue Cross of Idaho's social media channels.
- Support selected internal communications programs and initiatives to support desired company goals, including related to corporate strategy, employee engagement, and evolution of the workforce.
- Ensure communications are in compliance with state, agency, and federal regulations/guidelines.
- Create and/or coordinate the production of advertising and promotional materials based on predetermined marketing themes and messages.
- Establish and maintain corporate identity, design standards, and policies, including desired tone and voice for digital channels.
- Develop the content and produces written and visual communications.
- Create, edit, and proofread text and layout for internal and/or external publications.
