JOB OVERVIEW :
Under minimal supervision, the Inventory Control Specialist 2 monitors and oversees all production inventory records within a manufacturing environment. Responsible for the timely and accurate close of all process orders. Successful employee must be able to complete work within specific deadlines.
RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Follows checklist, and procedures that are established by the department management, to ensure the accurate closure of SAP process orders.
- Supports SAP transaction that ensures accurate closure of process orders.
- Monitors and ensures that movements, usage, and production are accurate.
- Works with required parties to identify, investigate, and resolve inconsistencies in both the manufacturing operations and the methods of reporting.
- Creates rework schedule and manages rework for production.
- Completes incoming and outgoing product movement reports as required.
- Assists other departments; and provides various levels of support and training as required.
- Maintains and adhere to Blue Diamond line certification, HACCP process and auditing, GMP's and safety practices.
- with a high degree of independence.

Other job requirements (e.g. certifications / licenses, CPG experience, work overtime / weekends, etc.)
WORK ENVIRONMENT
This is a standard office setting with typical office equipment and controlled temperatures. Occasionally requires walking out to warehouse, cold storage, and production areas to verify counts where forklift traffic, heavy machinery, and almond dust are present.
