Team Lead

Blue Diamond Industries is in search of a Team Lead for its Clinton, SC location. This role is a full-time, permanent position that will oversee assigned shift/department, assist Supervisor as needed and to complete Supervisor's duties when they are unavailable while adhering to Blue Diamonds policies and procedures. Bilingual encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with Supervisor to ensure that all lines are adequately manned and that employees are performing their jobs safely and correctly.
• Inputting daily production numbers into production log (if in production).
• Complete required documentation and turn in as needed.
• Check in with the Supervisor/Production/Warehouse Manager for any special instructions/duties for the day.
• Fill in as needed for the Supervisor.
• Make sure the area is kept clean of debris and orderly and keep an eye out for potential safety hazards.
• Clearly understand and follow safety protocol while ensuring the team does the same.
• Fill-in for any position on line or in the department as needed.
• Perform set up of machines, changeovers and start-ups and ensure product is in specifications (if in production).
• Other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

• Ability to work under minimum supervision.
• Good communication skills
• Ability to understand oral and written instructions.
• Good people skills
• Ability to perform several tasks/duties in assigned area.
• Must be able to perform all positions on line and/or in department.

Physical Requirements with or without accommodation

• Regularly required to stand and walk for long periods of times during a shift.
• Must be able to occasionally lift, push and pull 50-100 lbs.
• Must be able to work in a factory setting.
