Outside Sales Representative
Blue Dolphin Screenprint and Embroidery, Inc. is a leading regional full-service apparel decorator and promotional products distributor located in Somersworth, New Hampshire. We are dedicated to providing our employees with a team environment that fosters a sense of belonging and success. We are now looking for an enthusiastic and driven Outside Sales Representative to join our team.
Job Summary
Make initial sales contacts via telephone or in-person within an assigned territory or as directed by company management. Process all customer inquiries; quotations; and orders as received. Confirm pricing, quantities, and delivery requirements with the customer. Interface with sales management, graphic design, production and accounting in order to ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction.
Primary Duties
- Manage assigned territory with initial Book of Business.
- Follow up on assigned and self-generated leads.
- Call on prospective customers in targeted markets to introduce company’s internal manufacturing capabilities and promotional products.
- Provide consultation to customers on various types of products and services.
- Follow-up with new or existing customer inquiries on various marketing promotions.
- Maintain customer CRM system and other sales reports.
- Achieve and maintain rapport with customers.
- Receive all incoming inquiries, requests for quotes and orders from customers.
- Follow-up on inquires to ensure order placement.
Job Requirements
- Education – Associate’s degree in Business or Marketing preferred.
- Experience - 3 to 5 years in Sales in the promotional industry or related industries preferred.
- Shopworks and CRM experience preferred.
- Must travel daily within the assigned sales territory.
- Must have excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Must be a self-starter and handle a variety of tasks.
- Must be proficient in M/S: Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Must work with minimum supervision and have a high capacity to make decisions.
Compensation and other considerations
- Salary: Includes initial base plus commissions.
- Travel allowance, cell phone, computer provided.
- Benefits: HRA (Health Reimbursement) and Dental insurance, STD/Life/AD&D insurance, paid vacation and 401K program with 4% company match.
