An expanding investment group with a values-driven approach is seeking an Area Manager to oversee operations for a newly acquired multi-site campground portfolio across Ohio and Indiana. With over 1,100 sites, waterfront access, and unique amenities, this is a rare opportunity to lead in a growing and exciting sector of outdoor hospitality.
Role Overview:
As Area Manager, you will be responsible for leading the daily operations, performance, and guest experience across multiple campground locations. Working closely with property-level staff and senior leadership, you will ensure consistent service, operational excellence, and alignment with the company's core values. This role requires regular travel throughout the region and offers substantial potential for growth within a fast-scaling organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day operations of campground properties across Ohio and Indiana
- Hire, train, and lead on-site teams to deliver exceptional guest service
- Monitor property performance, implement operational standards, and drive efficiencies
- Coordinate with leadership to manage budgets, staffing, and capital improvements
- Conduct regular site visits to ensure safety, compliance, and brand consistency
- Collaborate with vendors, contractors, and local officials to maintain and enhance properties
- Identify opportunities for improvement and support growth of the campground portfolio
Qualifications:
- 5 years of experience in hospitality, property management, or multi-site operations
- Strong leadership and communication skills with a collaborative mindset
- Experience managing teams and working across multiple locations
- Passion for outdoor hospitality or familiarity with campground/RV operations a plus
- Must be willing to live in Ohio or Indiana, in close proximity to the campgrounds
- Ability to travel frequently across Ohio and Indiana
- Self-starter with a problem-solving attitude and operational discipline
