Contract Administrator / Project Administrator – $400M Urban Mixed-Use Development

A high-profile urban mixed-use project in Delray Beach is entering Phase 2 of its $400M development, and we are seeking an experienced Contract Administrator to support project execution through effective contract management. This is a career-defining opportunity to work on-site daily, embedded within the in-house general contracting team of a well-established owner/builder.
Role Overview:
As Contract Administrator, you will work on-site daily, ensuring that all contractual agreements, compliance requirements, and procurement processes align with project goals. You will play a key role in coordinating contracts, managing documentation, and supporting cost controls, working closely with the Project Managers, in-house GC team, and ownership.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer and manage contracts with subcontractors, vendors, and consultants to ensure compliance with project requirements.
- Support procurement processes, including bid evaluations, contract negotiations, and vendor selection.
- Maintain and organize contract documentation, ensuring accuracy and alignment with project milestones.
- Monitor contract performance, track deliverables, and assist in resolving contract-related issues.
- Collaborate with Project Managers and GC leadership to ensure timely execution of contracts and change orders.
- Assist in cost control efforts, including reviewing invoices, verifying compliance with contract terms, and managing payment applications.
- Ensure all contracts and documentation align with Florida building codes, safety standards, and legal requirements.
- Act as a liaison between ownership, legal teams, subcontractors, and vendors to maintain clear and effective communication.
Qualifications:
- 3 years of experience in contract administration within the construction industry.
- Strong understanding of construction contracts, procurement, and compliance requirements.
- Experience supporting large-scale commercial or mixed-use developments is preferred.
- Familiarity with Florida construction regulations, permitting, and contract law.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple contracts and deadlines.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills to liaise with stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience with Procore or similar construction management software is a plus.
